Camping food doesn’t have to be complicated. There are lots of easy and delicious recipes to try on your next camping trip. We checked around and found a few to get you started. They all look quite tasty. You’ll probably have most of the ingredients on hand so that’s a great beginning.
All you’ll need is a large can of sliced peaches and some biscuit mix. Once you drain the syrup off the peaches and add most of it to the biscuit mix you’ll have a batter to work with. Then you pour the batter back over the sliced peaches still in the can. Cover it and put the can in your campfire. Check it often and when it is done, dig in.
Grilled Cinnamon Pineapple
This is another one and all you’ll need is pineapple, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Cut the pineapple into quarters, remove the core and marinate it in the cinnamon and brown sugar mix for half an hour or so. Pop them on a hot grill and only turn them once. You’ll have lovely grill marks though no one will see them for long because this treat will go fast.
Grab a tube of crescent rolls, some vanilla pudding, chocolate frosting, and tin foil. You’ll be wrapping the crescent dough around a camping fork and covering it with foil. Cook it over the fire until nice and golden. Fill the open end with vanilla pudding and cover it with chocolate frosting. Bring extra because the neighbors will probably find a reason to drop by.
These are just a few easy recipes to make your camping complete. We hope your stay with us is as satisfying as these recipes sound.
