Many people camp with their pets these days and they want the experience to be good for the whole family. We do, too, so we’re offering some tips to make it a big success.
Keep Them Near You
Pets can get anxiety when they enter a new environment and campgrounds can be a busy place. There will be kids laughing and riding by on bicycles, other dogs in the area, and plenty of new smells. Help you pet by not leaving them alone on the campsite and walking them around your area so they can become familiar with the new place.
Bring Medical Records And Medication
We hope it never happens but, just in case, bring your pets’ medical information and prescriptions along with you. In the event you have to visit an area Vet, you will save time and stress on your pet if the Vet can see this information before treating your little loved one.
Food, Bed, and Toys
Bring enough food so you don’t run out and have to feed your pet a new brand. This can upset their tummies and make for a challenging situation. They will sleep well in their favorite bed, the one that smells like them, and they’re favorite toys will keep them company and make them feel at home.
We welcome you and your pet to Pin Oak Creek RV Park. Call us to make a reservation soon. We can’t wait to meet you.
